Scarf Season

It has finally arrived! And though we're bitter sweet about the fact of losing our precious summer warmth, fall is back and still as exciting as ever. I don't know about you, but the transition from summer to fall gives me the feeling of absolute comfort. Besides how drastic the weather change may be at times, I still thoroughly enjoy the feeling of turning on your heating system on for the first time in months. Then, warming up some tea and snuggling up in the coziest blanket you can find. Truth be told, that's exactly what I'm doing at the moment.

The season of fall comes with a complete wardrobe change. I've already completed the process of bringing out my winter clothes and boy oh boy did I miss them! It always feels like a new shopping trip when you bring out seasonal clothes that were stored away. Amongst some of the things I brought out were my scarves. Now, if you don't have a scarf collection... Do you even "Fall"? It's an absolute must! Not only do they keep you warm, but they're such a simple yet stylish accessory to add to your outfits. Granted, this year is a bit different as most of us are spending most of our time indoors. I've barely touched my scarves since bringing them out. But any chance I get to wear them, I do! It's actually added some excitement to my previously mundane grocery trips.

Some of my favorite scarves are infinity scarves. I call them my "one and done scarves" because you can just wrap them around your neck and you're done. In recent years, I've grown fond of blanket scarves that I can tie around my neck (seen in the photo with the cheetah print scarf). But regardless of the type of scarf I use, I love bright scarves! In my opinion, Fall already has a sense of dreariness to it. Not only do we have to suffer the loss of our beloved sunlight, but to have to wear dark clothing too is just tragic at times. So, my favorite thing to do is add pops of color whenever I can. A scarf is a great way to do this!
