Review: Marc Fisher D’Orsay Amra Flats

Hello lovely people! I am so very excited to continue in my review series. Today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on these trendy flats. First of all, everyone needs a cute pair of flats in their closet. In recent years, the D'Orsay style flats have soared into public eyes after being worn by notable celebrities and influencers. What makes them so special though? Last year, I purchased a pair of Marc Fisher Amra flats so that I can figure out just why.

For starters, these flats feature the beloved pointed toe feature. The special effect that these give off is that they elongate your feet by making them look a bit narrower So for those who appreciate that look, these flats are for you! However, for those of us who have wider feet, these shoes don't quite cover all my toes. That was a bit of a disappointment. Another great benefit about these flats is that it also makes any outfit just a level classier. Typically, I view rounded toe flats as a little too immature. If that's even the right word. I just think of my 12 year old self wearing flats and a dress to special events. But my 24 year old self struggles to wear flats to special events. However, these super cute flats are so stylish that they give off a more mature effect even when paired with a dress.

As far as Marc Fisher's delivery with this product, I'd give it an 8 (out of 10). The structure of these flats are well made. I appreciate the miniature heel in the flats as well as the open space on the inner sides of each flat. It allows room for air as well as flexibility while wearing these. The threading is well-stitched. It just seems like a pair of flats that will last me a long time.

I typically shy away from suede shoes for the fear of them looking super rag-tag in a short period of time. However, these flats have withstood the test of... well my walking style; which includes a lot of tripping over things and stepping in muddy areas due to carelessness. And one last thing to point out about these flats, and probably my favorite part, is the v-shaped curve on the upper portion of the shoe. It just adds so much class to these flats.

All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. I've always been a fan of Marc Fisher's and probably have like 4 shoes from his collections. I wonder if it makes this review a bit bias. Basically, there's a reason I keep coming back. I appreciate the quality of his products and the simplicity they give off. Yet, they are still so very stylish and trendy! For those of you contemplating on buying these beauties, I hope you benefited in some way from this review. I'd say go for it, but at the end of the day it's your personal decision to make. With that all being said, have a lovely weekend!
